How to transform a moon cake tin box into a tea tin box?
For customer, especially a start-up company, low purchasing cost is very important. One customer of Color Can wants to purchase some big square tin boxes with hinged lid for their tea bags, but they don’t want to open a new mold for their size. After checking our mold list, we advise to transform one of our moon cake tin boxes into the tea tin box.

For our current tin box, the size is 238x238x60mm, the lid is removable.
But customer wants it to be a hinged lid. So we change the mold of the tin body a little and make the lid with a hinge.
After that, our customer also wants us to make a plastic tray inside the tin box to pack tea bags, the tray need to be with 9 holes and it should looks high-end. So we make the plastic tray with flocking surface.
